NSW Health’s COVID exposure site list grows as Greater Sydney enters fifth week in lockdown

The number of coronavirus exposure sites has grown again in New South Wales as Greater Sydney and its surrounds enter week five of lockdown.

Another 141 local cases of the virus were recorded on Sunday, as well as another two COVID-related deaths.

Eight people have died in the current Sydney outbreak, which now sits at 2,081.

There are 43 people in intensive care, none of whom are fully vaccinated, with 18 ventilated.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has said her government will this week start “critical planning” on policy settings after the lockdown’s scheduled end on Friday.
