From 4pm on Tuesday, Tasmania declared the state of South Australia as high risk, joining Victoria and New South Wales in being locked out of Tasmania due to increasing community-transmission cases of Covid.

Around 3,000 people who have arrived in Tasmania from South Australia since July 8 will be required to wear a mask in public for 14 days after their arrival.
