NSW Health issues new alert for Sydney Covid exposure sites amid lockdown

NSW Health has issued an evening alert for 18 additional venues that have been deemed possible Covid-19 exposure sites.

The state recorded 124 new locally acquired cases of the virus in the 24 hours to 8pm on Wednesday, the highest daily number since this outbreak began on June 16, from a record 55,000 tests.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said at least 48 of those new cases were infectious while out in the community.

Anyone who has visited the following venues at the following times is now a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.

SMITHFIELD

• All Parts Auto, Wednesday July 14, from 8.15am to 9.15am

CAMPSIE

• Tong Li Supermarket, Thursday July 15 from 8.45am to 7.45pm; Friday July 16 from 8.45am to 7.45pm; Saturday July 17 from 7

LAKEMBA

• Exim Supermarket, Monday July 19 from 8.50pm to 9.10pm

• Chemist Warehouse, Saturday July 17 from 4.20pm to 4.40pm; Monday July 19 from 3.10pm to 3.25pm

• Traboulsi Bakery, Monday July 19 from 3.30pm to 3.45pm

MARRICKVILLE
