There are fears coronavirus could spread outside of Greater Sydney as a Shell Coles Express in Lithgow, about two hours from Sydney, is named by NSW Health.

A Coles, medical centre and petrol station two hours away from Sydney have been named as the latest COVID-hit venues in New South Wales.

NSW Health updated their list of exposure sites overnight after the state recorded 105 new coronavirus cases, including 27 that were infectious in the community.

“NSW Health has been notified of a number of new venues of concern, including one near Lithgow, as well as public transport routes associated with confirmed cases of COVID‑19,” health authorities wrote.
