Everything Coming To Netflix Australia This June 2021

If you’re someone who loves Autumn so much, you even don’t mind it when someone labels it “Fall”, we hate to break it to you: it’s over. Those crunchy leaves under foot, carpeting the roads in various shades of orange, yellow and red, and those crisp sunrises where the mist makes everything look like it belongs in a Hollywood action movie. Yep, it’s finished, replaced instead with freezing temperatures and winds lashing at your face – welcome to Winter living.

Granted, things are never so dire here in Australia as they are overseas where people have to contend with minus-degrees and snow, but for a nation that prides itself on a year-round uniform of singlets, board shorts and flip-flops, we feel that cold seeping through our bones and into our bloodstream. Bracing the outdoors gets a little more difficult with each passing day during these colder months but thankfully, Netflix has once again curated a list of original series, dramas and sensational flicks to see you through this dark time of hibernation.

Fans of the incredible Lupin will be pleased to know that the series returns this month with its second instalment, while fans of the documentary will find solace in titles like Human: The World Within and Breaking Boundaries: The Science of Our Planet. As for the other stand-out names dropping on the streaming platform this month, Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster Tenet will be available, while we’ll finally get to see what Zac Efron has been doing all these months with the release of Down to Earth with Zac Efron Season 1. If ever there was a good reason for staying in, staying warm and getting comfortable on the couch, it has to be the list of films and series arriving to Netflix this June.

And if all that wasn’t enough to excite, it’s been reported that the streaming service could move into the video gaming industry as early as 2022. While details remain scarce, several sources suggest Netflix could consider a move similar to that of Xbox Games Pass or Apple Arcade, which provides high-quality, add-free mobile games on a paid subscription basis. We’ll keep you posted as more information unfolds.
